Morrow family diaries, 1866-1891 (bulk 1866-1868, 1891).

Four Morrow family diaries include three diaries of Emma R. Morrow, granddaughter of Ohio Governor Jeremiah Morrow, which record her daily activities, from 1866-1867, while a senior at Oxford Female Institute in Oxford, Ohio, and in 1868, awaiting her marriage to J.R. Sanson. Some cash accounts and memoranda are written in the final pages, and folded in the back pockets of the diaries are loose papers and clippings, including a report for March 1867 for Emma Morrow with general rules of Oxford Female Institute and a clipping about the 1866-1867 school year and a list of U.S. bonds. One 1891 diary of Emma's daughter, Kittie M. Sanson, describes her studies and activities at in Oxford, Ohio at the Western College for Women. Kittie records information about family and friends in her memoranda and expenses in the account pages at the end of the book.
